1-ton container.
1000 Fleurs is a fragrance derived from the “Mille Fleurs” tank that I discovered in the workshops of the fragrance manufacturer Azur Fragrances. This tank collects all excess materials and production errors generated during the perfume-making process. The result is a completely arbitrary and uncontrollable olfactory blend.
This series of works was produced as part of the Art & Mondes du Travail residency program at the Espace de l’Art Concret and within the production facilities of Azur Fragrances in Mouans-Sartoux.
The residency provided me with the opportunity to work in entirely new contexts, very different from my usual artistic practice. The corporate environment, as well as the worlds of perfume and olfaction, had never previously been part of my work.
