“TELLY (CNN)” - 2008 TRANSPARENT ONYX MARBLE, SONY TRINITRON TELEVISION, SATELLITE PARABOLE, DECODER APPROXIMATELY: 52 X 52 X 52 CM Telly (CNN) is a box made of transparent onyx marble. Inside this apparentely minimal white cube there is a television which is connected through a satellite parabole (set up on to the roof of the exhibition space) to CNN live. The sculpture is connected to space through the satellite and broadcasts CNN that is a kind of global information flow. The use of the onyx comes from byzantine churches (Ravenna) in italy as they have onyx marble window instead of glass. Installation view at Art-O-Rama, La Friche Belle de Mai, Marseille
